Multiple national standards in the field of surveying and mapping geographic information have been officially released

Recently, multiple national standards developed and revised by the Institute of Surveying and Mapping Standardization of the Ministry of Natural Resources have been officially approved and released, and will be implemented from September 1, 2025. The relevant standards cover areas such as consistency testing of surveying and mapping geographic information standards, geodetic and astronomical measurements, classification and symbol expression of land pipeline elements, design of urban geographic information systems, and database construction. This marks a new level in the standardization of surveying and mapping geographic information in China and provides solid standard support for the high-quality development of the industry.
